What is your favorite Biden gaff?

Here is mine. He references Teddy Roosevelt's comment, "Walk softly and carry a big stick." Then he assures the audience that Barak Obama "has a big stick."

Honestly?

That FDR "got on TV" to reassure Americans that the "only thing we have to fear is fear itself."

Television hadn't been invented yet in 1933.

Biden either meant to say "radio" or was referring to film of the president's inaugural that was shown in news reel footage in theaters (and of course in later years on TV).

Biden was born in 1942, so he grew up seeing film of FDR's first inaugural broadcast on TV as a historical event.

But that's a lot different that saying we stormed the British airbases in the Revolutionary War like Trump thinks we did.
