Regardless, self-made billionaires are naturally predisposed to the bootstraps way of thinking, so Oprah is actually somewhat atypical - but those are details, really. Ultimately the privilege situation is pretty undeniable in our society, even if how it works out in life is neither uniform nor purely deterministic.
