I don’t know why they’re bothering with debates this year. We’ve all already made up our minds on who to vote for. The debates are just a tax dollar wasting formality at this point.
@Zaphod42 Yeah its left over from the days before social media where we would see the candidates on TV news clips and campaign events. The debates would be one of your few opportunities to see the candidates talk at length without interruption.
@Zaphod42 Don’t worry, there won’t be any debates. Twitler is asking for a fourth one to take place before the three already scheduled, with “friendly” right-wing moderators.
