This study was about SARS-CoV which is an entirely different virus from Covid-19. Just because they're both coronaviruses doesn't mean you use the same medicine for every virus of a single type.
Secondly, it was done on FUCKING PRIMATES and not humans and follow-up studies showed it isn't very effective with humans.
