We'd call any other nation backwards

Trump passed along the words uttered by a truly immortal idiot, Chuck Woolery. We live with an administration that is actually taking swipes at science and medicine. And these are the guys protecting us.

[quote]"The most outrageous lies are the ones about Covid 19," the game show host and conservative commentator Chuck Woolery wrote, in a tweet the president shared with his over 83 million followers on Twitter. "Everyone is lying. The CDC, Media, Democrats, our Doctors, not all but most ,that we are told to trust. I think it's all about the election and keeping the economy from coming back, which is about the election. I'm sick of it."

Trump shared the message without comment or elaboration. There is no evidence the CDC, a federal agency, or doctors are "lying."

The president also shared a message critical of the nation's foremost infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

De fauci is an interesting actor in this whole Covid fiasco. He was investigating Corina viruses till the US stopped funding the research. He moved the testing and research offshore and helped secure funding from the is tfor 3.5 million.

Where did he move the research to? Wuhan China. To continue the research the US shut down .

Fauci just became more interested in n covering his own ass than providing sound medical advice.

@QuixoticSoul I've always thought the US just has more of everything, both bad and good. More rich, more poor. I thought we'd be ok because although we have more stupid people than about any other Western nation, we also have more intelligent people and a lion's share of the best universities in the world. I fear that may not be enough.
@biandlargeny Obama lives in the US. Guess where the virus is worst at? It must be Obamas fault.

@canusernamebemyusername the article says the department hinged Chinese research. Not Obama. It looks like the department headed by Fauci tried to outsource the research after being told by the Obama administration to shut it down.
😂@biandlargeny You're delusional

@biandlargeny For fuck's sake man - you're linking an oped based on a breitbart piece that's essentially retelling gossip.

@QuixoticSoul it's a Wheaton that had to be answered. It's not an oped. And it hasn't been discredited as of yet.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@biandlargeny It says “Opinion” right in the byline, and that nonsense was discredited immediately, back in April.
biandlargeny · 56-60, M
Who discredited it?
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@biandlargeny Anyone who spent five minutes looking into it.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@biandlargeny Dear God. The US, not Fauci, gave grants not to Wuhan but to the EcoHealth Alliance, which in turn funds international research outlets.

There is no "Fauci took his money to China" conspiracy.

@Graylight Fox will soon produce a video of Fauci, photoshopped into footage from the Wuhan Lab, and another one of Fauci cleaning up bats at the meat market in Wuhan, and then a couple of SW users will post them to SW as proof that there's something wrong with Seattle.
