What "world" are they living in? Certainly NOT mine.

The president and the White House also boasted about the U.S.'s response to COVID-19, with Trump saying the country has the 'lowest fatality rate'

Mary Trump's family tell-all book publication date moved up to July 14, 2 weeks early. I'm sure everyone has heard about it by now. Hopefully it will give us a better understanding of Trump's World. And the Muppet show that he has created.

@softspokenman Yes I read that. Should prove to be an interesting read considering the amount of time and effort Trump and his siblings have put in trying to stop it from being published. What are they so afraid of and what are they trying to hide? Hmmmm
Regardless of what some people may think of Mary's motives, she has every right to tell her story and I honestly hope she makes a fortune out of it.
@Zoranna 👍️ At first their concern was about her signing a non disclosure agreement but that was about Fred Trump's will, that may be an interesting read also.

@softspokenman How many families would have other family members sign a non disclosure agreement unless they were afraid of what they might say.
It's still unbelievable to me actually, knowing that so much undesirable information about Trump was actually in the public arena, that he was ever even considered for nomination never mind elected president.
I'm sure there were thousands upon thousands of people who, like myself, thought it was a huge joke when he announced his intention to run. In that regard the joke was on us ... much to my lasting dismay.
@Zoranna I don't know if it is a common practice for wealthy families to sign NDA's for a family Will.
I agree that it does* seem unbelievable that the GOP nominated him knowing his business practices. (OP) He coerced the GOP by threatening to run as a third party candidate. I think it was obvious that he wouldn't win but he would draw enough votes, his base supporters now, so that Hillary would have won.

@softspokenman I don't know either, not coming from a wealthy family by any means, but it just strikes me as a little odd.
Ah that's what happened, I never knew that, thanks. It does explain it a little.
@Zoranna Trump doesn't use non disclosure agreements which might protect legitimate commercial interests. He uses non disparagement agreements which go further and tend to further fraud and the like.

@MistyCee in you’re biased option
@TexChik Trump aside, can you really make a case for a valid public purpose for most non disparagement agreements?
TexChik · F
@MistyCee yes , just like nondisclosure agreements ... they are very helpful in lessening the burden On the courts . Compensation is offered and accepted and the contract is binding . Trump didn’t invent them nor is he the first to use them . Your blind hatred Of Trump is disturbing
@TexChik Like an arbitration provision?
TexChik · F
@MistyCee yep . It’s legal, commonly done , yet if Trump does it you slander him . How can you have any objectivity with that bias ? Are you really wanting socialism and the destruction of our government and way of life that badly ?
@TexChik yup, yup, and arbitration provisions are a whole different discussion.

That's not my bias and it didn't cause any objectivity problems I might have.

Finally, no, no, no, and no.

But imo, Trump's not the best alternative to or warrior against socialism, and he's a much more imminent threat to our government and way of life.

Anything about either of us we didn't know?
