@Budwick Pretty much. Skipping the actual electors thing, the Democrats and even the Republicans seemed knocked back on their heels by Trump's unconventional non-stop mud slinging and alternative facts.

I don't really think the Democrats have a chance against the Trump cult without a better showing by the never-Trumpers and apostates alike than in 2016, which I think is, at this particular moment, why they seem to be doing so well.

That could, and my guess is will change if Trump finds some new ammunition, like Durham, Obamagate, some really juicy stuff on Biden, Covid actually slowing down, or most likely, I guess, some voter fraud related story to throw out.

I know you'd disagree with me, but Trump's objective-fact-devoid approach with no concern over ethics or unintended conseqiences is really not something that conventional political stategists or even educated people are well equipped to counter.
