A friend of mine just told me, " I got this notification that BLM wants everyone to not shop on July 7th. They claim it will crash the economy ?

Sorry but that's my wedding anniversary. Nobody is going to tell me what to do on that day. 😎

If this is true - who does it hurt? Most businesses in some way are hurting already? How many people who work in stores or the service industry are minorities anyway? So you'll deny them a living....I don't get it.

@luctoretemergo I am no economist. I don't know if their plan will work, quite honestly, but that is their stated goal, according to my friend. They want to demonstrate their power. Apparently they don't care who is hurt or what color their skin might be...which I have understood from the beginning.

I can't take BLM seriously.
They need better spokespeople and a clear message.

Would you please wear a mask when you shop?

@MistyCee Super easy. You subscribe to ancestry.com, and put in your own name and birthdate to start. Then under Search in the toolbar, you put in your parents and/or grandparents information, as much as you know. I like to find a census. Those are available in the USA up to the year 1940, and if your parents were born before 1940 you can usually find them...or at least find your grandparents or great grands.
Once you are looking at the right person, or the right family, ALL related info comes up in a column to the right. Every document available comes up. If the person is living you will only see public records.
I like to cross check that against familysearch.org, because the Mormons have access to more and different information, at times....and on familysearch.org, sometimes you put in your own name and everything is already done! You don't have to be a member of their church to join.

BLM needs shutting down as soon as possible! they are nothing more than a terrorist group. They crave power and dont care who they hurt to get it

@Deesa123 That is very obvious. They hurt more black business owners than anyone else in Minneapolis. This is NOT about real black people's lives...at all. It's about money for the Democrat party. Shaun King is laundering BLM's money and giving it to the democrats in a campaign finance dodge. Most of it has gone to Biden already.
