I wonder if the liberals here finally understand what the 2nd ammendment is for?

Many 'liberals' don't have any argument with the second amendment. They just simply suggest that semi-automatic weapons or people who are half nuts should have a little more sensible restrictions. To assume that means, 'They gonna take my guns,' is not an intelligent response to such a proposition.

Semi-automatic weapons, because those deer run in big numbers? Because 700 bullets are needed to fend off a housebreaker? Because when America's combined military might of armed forces, drones, hi-tech hardware and nuclear weapons fail to stop the invaders, we're safe because Jim-Bob will be there?

I grew up in a rural area. Where did I say no-one should have guns? I didn't. Do you need a semi-automatic weapon to manage wildlife? Only if you're a very, very bad shot - in which case you shouldn't have such a weapon anyway.
