Those two were charged today.

@polyandrym66 They can do that if they are convicted.

Common criminals have to post bail because the judge thinks they'll take off and never show up for trial. It's not a punishment - everyone is innocent until found guilty.

People are pretty sure these two will show up for their trial, and that includes me.

@QuixoticSoul Sure they will show up to see their charges dismissed because they were just doing their job..

@polyandrym66 Separate issue. Them being charged at all is a good sign though.

They're saying he slipped. Maybe they'll composite a banana peel into the video or something?!
polyandrym66 · 70-79, M
They will never go to jail because he was a white guy instead of a black old man..
polyandrym66 · 70-79, M
@QuixoticSoul Charged, but they will not spend any time in jail or ever be sentenced for their crimes against that old defenseless old man..
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@polyandrym66 They will be sentenced if they're found guilty.

@QuixoticSoul Just saying that cops are never found guilty of their crimes.. OK maybe 0.01% of them.. Look at the statistics..
