Why are these top countries happier than the USA?

@Silverwings What is the American dream about? It is all about owning a house! The government here actually encourage materialism! A house that the banks took from people? things like that shouldn’t happen! In Scandinavia the goal is not a house but more vacation with kids, less stress, less poverty more equality! The government aren’t encouraging buying! They encourage saving and reusing old, and enjoying life with family!

I listened to the king of Sweden’s speech to the people and it was so encouraging and hopeful! He did not talk about vaccines or a cure! He talked about love and hope and faith in God! He gave personal stories to the young to give them perspective!
Each king in Sweden has had a motto for Sweden! The first king of Swedens motto for the people in 1400 was The Lord is our God! The leaders are very loving in these 10 countries.

Sweden is not the whole of Scandinavia you know. Here in Norway owning a house is quite definitely a goal for the vast majority of people and working on that house is one of the commonest hobbies.

@ninalanyon I’m talking about the values of the countries American dream is just a house! The governments in Scandinavia concentrate on the happiness which is equality, no discrimination, economic welfare, vacation time, etc! All my friends and my relatives have 2 houses one for summer vacations. But that’s not the focus like it is in the “American dream” to have a house! Many Scandinavians are happy to live in apartments!
