To be fair ,I don't think he can be blamed for that ,the virus I think would fall under "acts of God "
NOW we Americans ,,who would not contain ourselves for say 14 days can be blamed .Something we may not have beaten but we could have contained ,I think we bear some of the blame .
In just 14 days of staying home we could have been able to find out who was sick and who was not and stopped the spread ,,but we just won't comply ,especially when most people think this virus is a hoax ,that lie was spread by both parties ,,but He is the commander in Chief ,He should have led a little better and should have been less quick to blame Oboma ,and pat himself on the back about what a great job we are doing world wide ,and how prepared we were because of him ,and then blame the governors when they proved to be untrue .
But not to disagree with you ,or spark an argument ,and a blast of all the misinformation .here is how I see it .

@independentone I am a Vet ,so I know we have the ability ,
In times we admit could cost this many lives ,the government can step in and make us by law stay in as many other countries did ,and they recovered faster and not near as many deaths .
He could have forced companies to produce the supplies needed ,but refused
He could have locked us down ,but then he would have had to admit he was wrong and he owned some of the blame for not heading the warnings ,making excuses ,blaming it all on China (the 11 cases was a lie ,we stopped anyone from China from coming in ,but it was flights from Europe that spread it too ,they walked past check points unstopped )Admitting he was wrong ,this was not a Democratic hoax or an attempt to mess up the elections .(but the Democrats didn't heed the warning either or take it serious at first so they are to blame too )
He said he bears no blame ,so thats where we stand .
I know the national guard could have been called in ,the DOT ,Homeland and the Coast Guard .
1 family member allowed out to go through a line and national guard could have asked how many are in you're family and without you leaving you're car loaded you up with MRE's and water ,which has a meal for one person and a beverage that you mix in the water bottle ,desert ,and TP for 1 person for 1 day .
(That could have cut down on some of it ,just stopping sick people from running to and fro looking for toilet paper )
2 meals a day per family member ,,we could have done this ..
14 days ,we would know exactly who was sick and who was not ,got the sick help and cut down on death and loss of jobs ,,we would be back to work ,kids back to school ..
But I am trained to accept that ,,most civilians are not
They would prefer to be shot protesting ,then be told what they can and can not do ..We are a very spoiled and un disciplined nation .

@JimboSaturn I agree Jimbo ,,but some days I do miss when men settled disputes with a slug it out and then it was over ..
Not the sissy stuff ,,posting our crap all over social media and dragging others into it ,,wha wha wha ,,or tying up the courts with BS disagreements .
Meet me at the road and we will settle this worked for my Dad and Grandpa's
And they had good neighbors ,,they knew who would take their crap and who wouldn't and everyone own guns back them ,rarely did they settle disagreements with a gun (well after the wild west became civilized )

Then it was over ,or they were careful who heard their complaining ,,LOL just sayin .
I have turned out the lights for a few in my day ,,no one has ever tried to charge me ,,but even that has changed .
A simple assault now days can turn into a felony ,,depending what you said when you came to punch their lights out ,,the words said could be used to convict you of a hate crime ,we are such sissy's now days ...LOL

Honestly the Wuhan lockdown grocery delivery scheme was far more workable. This is some end times stuff.

Grocery stores closed ..the national guard enforced the curfews and fed the people ..it went much easier then you would think .
With most our city under water ,and people stealing everything not nailed down
