@sunsporter1649 Funny. Canadian provinces with less people, less money and less autonomy have figured it out. I think there are some smart people in Michigan who can figure out basic access control.

We could all make that excuse for all the governors and the President.

Good leaders show their true colors when times get tough.

There are extremists on both sides no matter where you go. One of the thing a good leader does is learn how not to provoke them.

Whitmer isn’t very bright and she’s the worst kind of blind-sided politician who assumes that every Conservative must be a douche. Hence her attack on the DeVos family.

She really isn’t any better than the President.

And you seem to have a personal grudge. Decisions are not made in a vacuum. And ironically your point about leadership cuts both ways. The governors should have been able to expect leadership from the president and probably many plans in many states were formulated with that in mind. Reinventing the wheel yourself when you realize the oval office is functionally empty can't be easy. Seems like you are getting bent out of shape because of inconvenience. Nothing she has done is inconsistent with anywhere else that took this seriously. So this dictator bs is ridiculous as is the Trump comparison. Especially when we know she has been actively sabotaged by the Trump administration.

I would have expected her to learn from the other Governors who proved how unprepared the White House was. Fact is, she didn’t.

The steps in her plan are quite literally the most extreme taken by any state. She could have and should have been a bit less aggressive to prevent civil unrest.

It’s quite simple. She and The President are equally incompetent.

Actually quite the opposite. Michigan along with NY are taking steps to basically render the feds largely irrelevant.

But I am sure she can use another armchair general.

She also has extra considerations being a border state.
