Lets hope they wise up and get rid of not only the governor but Rashid as well!
Elessar · 26-30, M
@curiosi You admit they need to wise up, that's a good sign lol

@Elessar Your program to alleviate the effects of the kung flu and getting the country back to work again is....
Elessar · 26-30, M
@sunsporter1649 I'd preserve people who cared enough about their lives to self isolate, and give them a way to isolate from the idiots if they happen to have any in their household. Letting nature do its course on the others, no point in wasting limited hospital beds/resources for people who still think the pandemic is fake; after all you don't want to deprive them from their freedom of dying suffocated on their own fluids in the street.

@Elessar So your program initially decides to treat the entire country like new york, and hide under their porch until the Chinese give you permission to crawl out from under, meanwhile, just how do you get your Post Toasties and milk for your breakfast?
Elessar · 26-30, M
@sunsporter1649 You go out only for essential shopping, wearing masks and gloves over here. The moment a covidiot decides s/he's above the law, the police is so happy to fine them €500 to €3000 + 6mo of jail-time per violation. It drastically reduced the number of idiots the moment they started touching/seizing their money/properties. ;)

@Elessar How did the groceries get to the market?
Elessar · 26-30, M
@sunsporter1649 Essential workers are allowed to go to work, of course. The random Joe who goes out of home for no reason gets fined. After something like 200k people fined the great majority of them understood they better stay at home if they don't want to prolong this agony indefinitely.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Elessar And when will the agony be over?
Elessar · 26-30, M
@sunsporter1649 The time required is inversely proportional to the number of cases and how strict the lockdown is. China took roughly two months with the best implemented lockdown so far; South Korea took much less without even a lockdown because there was much better planning since the very beginning, compared to most west countries, and the population cooperated with authorities instructions.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Elessar Yup, china has discovered the bestest way to control the spread of their virus.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@sunsporter1649 "bestest"? I meant best from the sole point of view of containment, of course. And you want to imitate South Korea, not China, by the way.
