@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout no. Vets exists for a reason
@leeloh im kidding guys.. i dont live on a farm :)

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout well, that's just another thing (or many things) that has to evolve. 🐕

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout That particular dog happens to be rabid.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout as someone on a farm, everyone is a tool lol. Kids, parents, animals, everyone works. Dogs included😂 but if the animal is sick or something, we wouldn't be like "oh you can't work? No food". Just like we wouldn't do that to one of my siblings if they got sick and couldn't do their farm chores for the day. So everyone is expected to work, just not necessarily FOR food. But since food is produced ON our farm, yeah, if you don't work, nobody gets food since it's not growing or being harvested I guess😂
@AmmieBell alright im lying.. all farmers around here spend what precious little money they have to keep a pet.. 👍

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout liar, liar, 👖 on 🔥

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I'm sure some have pets, and some see all animals as tools lol. For most, I'd assume it's both. We wouldn't waste our money on an animal that can't help provide when even kids are expected to help out. But some would lol
Lucyy · 22-25, F
@AmmieBell we did the same. Everyone needs to work, in theory. We had one dog named Bonnie who was totally useless though lol. So she ended up being a pet. But you right, in practice it don't make no sense to get an animal that can't help around the farm when even kids are expected to. But it depends on the people. Not all farmer are the same so some really do just want pets. Those potbelly pigs in the house never seemed reasonable to me though lmao. That ain't a pet, that's a beast. Cute though
AmmieBell · 18-21, F
@Lucyy yeah, I get that. And there's still a distinction between "pet" and "farm" animal. though all our animals provide for the farm, we would never consider eating our dogs obviously 😂 so some ARE pets rather than farm animals, since there's more of an attachment and they're basically part of the family. And just like all the other members of the family, you better get your butt out there and do your chores haha
