At least we know what drives him
“If they don’t treat you right, I don’t call.”
Trump, discussing his strategy for lending assistance to State governors.
That's the president's unifying call for our nation to come together in this deadly time. Narcissism and paying tribute to the emperor.

Yup. You gotta know how to handle your superiors or the ones you're dependent upon. Trump --- you realize he's a true narcissist, and you go with it. It's not hard. You just suck up your pride and kiss ass. Narcissists can really be the easiest to deal with. Some people simply can't put their own pride to the side to get what they want. Stupid people.

@perceptivei It isn't quite that simple when the malignant narcissist requires public pronouncements of competence and appreciation. Because these get used later as "documentation" that the president was right and the governors love him. And this increases his support. So the governors have to walk a fine line.

@windinhishair I see what you're saying. I guess, they'll have to find a way around it. I'm sure they'll figure it out.

@perceptivei It is a high-wire act for these governors who won't give false praise. If it was any other boss, it would be simple as you indicate. Sadly, it all has to be played out in public.

Stay safe. In the end, you are responsible for your own welfare.
@windinhishair Did you hear Newsom the other day? He was able to acquire 20 mil masks then Trump sent another million and Newsom gave Trump all the credit. Newsom seems intent on getting as much for Ca as possible, and if kissing up to the orange clown works, so be it. This virus is real and not a time to play politics.
