UK Polictics

OK I know over the decades all polictical parties have had thier idiots or strange party memebrs but how did we end up with a government with Johnson, Rabb, Gove, Grayling, Davis, McVey, Leaderson, Villers, Cleavery.

and that's just the government side.

So does anyone have any ideas how we got into this mess?

Just think we could have topped up with Dianne Abbott that joke of a politician in a high position job she is useless
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Nyloncapes She'd be a lot less useless than Chris Grayling.

If labour had won, it would have been Johm mcdonnel running the economy now. Here is what he thinks:

In addition, labour has mps who have actually worked in the NHS. The tories only have people who have gutted it.

@Burnley123 I have seen her being interviewed needed a course in numbers and maths , all party's are to blame for NHS , that's why it is always big topic when elections come around
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Nyloncapes Even the last labour govt (and i am no fan of blair) put a lot more momey in than the tories. The conservatives have been in power since 2010 so its difficult to blame other people for the nhs now.

They are a party of the rich and dont care about ordinary people. Judge them by their actions, not their words.

@Burnley123 Blair in power for 3 terms was it and they still never got it right either, if labour for working class how come many have desserted them and had enough
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Nyloncapes it was better under labour. Look up the money and also the waiting times.

Is you know, i never fully supported New Labour and i did see them as selling out the working class but thet were still better than the tories. The outgoing labour leadership is VERY different to that. There are reasons why the party esstablishment didnt like corbyn.
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
@Burnley123 so are they behind stamer , are you for him,
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Nyloncapes I voted for Long Bailey because i think she has the best ideas.

Starmer is likely to win and i dont hate him. He is boring and middle of the road. I will support him but with a critical eye. He is not like blair but not like corbyn either. He will do some good things but i think he suffers from a failure of imagination.

@Burnley123 Corbyn and McDonnell's Labour govt would have been no better than this lot - they are as removed from the normal population as the tories are
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Justme264 I completely disagree. Read the mcdonnel article.
Justme264 · 70-79, M
@Burnley123 Sorry - I have listened to McDonnel time after time on tv and radio - and also when he had to stand in for Corbyn who would never turn up to explain himself. These two and Diane Abbott lost the election for Labour and always will - Johnson only won it because of them and Farage.

@Justme264 what also lost it was the tory papers, the bbc being a tory propogander machine but certinally abbott and McDonnel didn't help the situation but could you imagine if it had been a labour MP who had wasted all the money Grayling had, or the mess ups by Rabb, or the lies by Gove or boris the tory papaers would have had a feild day.
