I’m sure it is. When the number of new cases and deaths from it begin to decline I’ll breath a sigh of relief, but for now I’m just waiting to see what happens.

@Zaphod42 Italy did a lockdown two weeks ago and still has an increase, though theyve slowed the rate of increase

@Burnley123 Not sure about our data, unless maybe you subtract Lombardy numbers from those. Our testing facilities may be overwhelmed as well. Even official sources have said the numbers might be largely underestimated. 😥

@Elessar The problem was that just before they locked down lombardy, loads of people went back to their home regions and took the virus with them. Our government copied your bad idea and spread it from London to our regions.

@Burnley123 We can only hope it won't spread fast elsewhere. 🤞 Testing a lot and isolating many potential positives here in Veneto seems to be helping as well, our regional curve is more linear - actually against WHO indications to only test symptomatic people.
