@JT123 Yes, Obama was funding jihad. And Trump has continued that tradition. The United States gives hundreds of billions of dollars and equal worth in weapons to Saudi Arabia, who supplies a wife variety of Sunni militias and terrorist groups. Meaning the USA is, through middleman, is supporting Al Qaeda, NTJ, ISIS, ISIL, the Yarmoush Martyrs Brigade, Al Shabaab, Boko Haram, and a number of other jihadists groups. And in the case of the Al Nusra Front, we don't use a middleman at all. We just give the money and weapons directly to them.
Trump is doing it now. Obama did it before him. Bush did it before him. Back in Clinton's day the Mujahideen existed and he supported them too.

@JT123 Ah, I'm misinformed. So then Trump is lying to me, yes? And the State Department is also lying? And the Department of Defense is lying? And the Saudi government is lying? And every major news outlet both rightist and leftist is lying? And Boeing is lying? And Northrop Grumman is lying? And Raytheon and Honeywell and Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics and L3Harris and BAE Systems are lying? And the National Security Administration is lying?
You're telling me all those sources, all those people who have all those records of weapons sales to the Saudis and where they go, who buys them, for how much and when and where, are all fabricating the same story?
And those times Donald Trump was in front of cameras with the Saudi royalty detailing all the specifics of the weapons deals, that was fake? What, that wasn't Trump and those weren't the Saudi princes? They were paid actors I guess.
And all those photographs and videos of Islamic State insurgents and National Thow'heeth Jamath militants using American weapons that they got from Saudi Arabia must have all been fugazi too. Photoshop maybe?
And I guess conventional arms transfer policy is a myth too considering all the detailed records of bulk weapons sales to the Al Nusra Front as well. And so must be the Foreign Assistance Act.
