Are you one of the people in the USA who are concerned that colleges and universities have become radically leftist, with radical leftist professors?

Turns out there's a reason for that. The Chinese, the Saudis, Qatar, and the UAE have been paying huge sums of money to colleges and universities all over the USA. These foreign powers are bribing our universities to teach and support radical leftist thought and to influence student groups toward radical leftism.

Our universities KNOW it is wrong...and many of them are trying to hide it. Legally, they are supposed to declare contributions over $250,000.00 twice a year...and yet....the total of all foreign contributions to Universities in the USA is now 6.6 billion, and that is the part that has been REPORTED.

Harvard and Yale, most famously, have accepted over 500 million dollars each from the Chinese in exchange for their influence....and have hidden this fact. Harvard, most famously, recently fired a professor who was selling new discoveries to the Chinese, (after it became public). Despite these donations, student tuition has not been lowered.

Betsy DeVos is now exposing the bribes that Harvard and Yale have tried to hide. They are supposed to let parents know who is donating funds so that parents can decide in advance whether they want their children to attend a college or university funded by foreign powers, which will teach their children to become enemies of the principles of our Democratic Republic.

When the non-declaration or non-disclosure of Harvard and Yale were revealed, SUDDENLY MIT, Northeastern, and a large list of other universities, revealed their OWN foreign donations.

What are your thoughts?

I'm not sure I get this.

@MistyCee Perhaps you should read the article? I left you a link.

@4meAndyou i'm sure we'll be confused for at least an hour or so🤦
@4meAndyou I get the Chinese connection, sort of, anyway, but the Saudis are promoting leftism?
4meAndyou · F
@MistyCee Apparently so. Perhaps you would like to ask the Saudis WHY the 9-11 tragedy involved Saudis, and WHY our military base in Florida was shot up by a Saudi trainee whose friends filmed it?

The Saudis have a religious faction who do not like the United States...not to state the obvious...and no where does the article say that these donations ALL originate with the official government.
@4meAndyou I'm not a fan of Saudi Arabia or Wahabism, but this is the first time I've heard of a connection between the left and the Kingdom. The Saudis chose the US over Russia as allies way back in large part because of a distaste for godless communism as I recall.
4meAndyou · F
@MistyCee The Wahabis would like to destroy us, and the fastest way to do that is to destroy our nation using our own children as their soldiers...and that way they escape all blame.
@4meAndyou ok, but it still seems like a stretch to say they're promoting leftism. Are you saying it's some kind of false flag thing?
4meAndyou · F
@MistyCee Exactly.
4meAndyou · F
@MistyCee And what better way to destroy us, and destroy our values, than to destroy our economy using our own children to do it?
@4meAndyou I just don't see it. I went to college with a lot of Saudis, and they were mostly there to study engineering and sciences. Their parents were worried about them picking up left-wing liberal ideas.

Granted, its a pretty short article, but I also don't see much there about actually promoting left wing curriculum. Not only is there not a quid pro quo, but there's barely a quo there.

It seems more likely to me that Fox is reporting it, and for that matter, maybe that DeVos is investigating it, because the Saudis, like the Chinese and the others are foreign, and not so much because they're liberals or promoting a liberal agenda.
4meAndyou · F
@MistyCee Since your focus seems to be a bit narrow, I will leave you to think about the fact that Saudi Arabia contains two factions. I am feeling a bit dizzy from not eating, so I have to fix some soup.
@4meAndyou Enjoy. BTW, I'm not saying unreported foreign donations aren't an issue.

I'm more saying it's not just a left/right issue. Maybe the Saudis do have leftist factions, but I'm at least as concerned about foreign influence from the right as I am from the left.
4meAndyou · F
@MistyCee Hmm...soup is finally finished, so I will think about that...BUT credibility is at zero for Russia. The left really has to consider whether their media arms are spreading false rumors, and whether or not anyone will ever believe them again.
@4meAndyou I thought we were talking about the Saudis?

Are Russians giving unreported donations?

I hadn't even considered that angle until you brought it up, but since you did..

Would DeVos investigate them?
4meAndyou · F
@MistyCee I thought you were referring to Russia when you mentioned that the right is influenced by foreign powers.

And we all know how true THAT was...not.
@4meAndyou I don't know that for a fact, but I didn't really want to get into the Russian Election interference "hoax" on a your post which had nothing to do with it.

It actually does have some similarities, though.
