Should Democrat Leadership Be Punished ??

Should Democrat Leadership Be Punished ??

Should Democrat Leadership Be Punished for perpetrating lies, making shit up, attempting to over turn the last election and interfere / meddle in the 2020 election?

Schiff's 'rock solid' evidence against Trump never surfaced. None of the 'witnesses' witnessed anything. All the real evidence points to the fact that President Trump did nothing wrong - yet the left persists. Obviously, their motivation has nothing to do with any wrong doing.

These false distractions have been the focal point for democrats and the media for three years now! The topic had a negative effect on America in many respects.

I don't know if it's a crime for politicians to lie - I suppose if it were, DC would be a ghost town. But, this rises to a level that in my opinion can not be ignored or allowed to happen again. In my opinion the people that put us through this mess need to be punished - severely.

I believe that Adam Schiff should be dis-barred, but that's just my opinion. Any person with so-called legal training who lies consistently about having evidence that doesn't exist and who conceals exculpatory evidence is no longer a professional, and IMO the bar should express that by dis-barring him.

Unfortunately, because this is Congress, the same rules don't apply, and Schitty is exempt from prosecution by...anyone. If he were based out of any other community state than California, he would be voted out during the next election.

@4meAndyou
exempt from prosecution by...anyone.
Is that true?
That just doesn't sound right.

@Budwick When a member of the House of Representative tells a lie inside the House, he is exempt from prosecution. If he lies in the Senate, to sitting U.S. Senators, I am not quite as sure of his exemption.

@4meAndyou And, what about lying to the press and We the People?
4meAndyou · F
@Budwick Lying to the public is the purview of politicians...more common than fleas on dogs...and in the normal way of things, the people would be outraged and they would rise up and express their outrage with their votes...and Schitt would never hold office again. Again...he is based out of California, so he is performing the will of his constituency, and it is most likely that they are delighted with him.

The so-called press in this instance are delighted with Schitt's lies, because they are not really what we used to know as the third estate, which existed to keep our government honest. 90% of all media today are partisan sponsored arms of the Democrat party. Which is why we call them the DCNN and similar names...because they exist to promote the opinions of the Democrats.

@4meAndyou Very sad news.
I respect your opinion, you're probably right - I was just hoping I wasn't gonna have to climb any clock towers with my high powered sling shot.

@Budwick Well, we have all been having little fantasies lately, but we should remember that the Senate trial is not complete until the President's team have had a chance to present their case, and ALL the Senators vote.

No matter WHAT the outcome, we should also remember that this is not the end of it, and the madness we see is the direct result of the Dems losing power. They really don't HAVE anything else in their repertoire but impeachment, and it will go on and on and on.

We will see VIOLENCE only if Bernie Sanders is nominated AND loses. If that happens, his supporters will light our cities on fire.

I think when we consider various types of madness, we need to consider that there are levels, (of madness).

@4meAndyou You are not very good at convincing potential sling shot assassins to take up cross stitch instead.

These are more and more reasons to ensure punishment - IMO.
4meAndyou · F
@Budwick We really must NOT encourage this train of thought. Someone must absolutely take responsibility and say out loud that it is okay to THINK, but never okay to DO when you are thinking about what to do with your sling shot...because you could put someone's eye out, and you could ruin your own life, and damage the reputation of your party.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@4meAndyou Whew! That was much better!
Of course you're right.

You are level headed and appreciated.
