However, Yang's $1,000 a month is not even remotely possible. THere are roughly 210,000,000 adults 18 and older, that will equate to $210 Billion USD, a month.

@NativeOregonian He wants to add a VAT for automated systems, and also cut/roll other entitlement programs into this. It can work, but his plans for funding sources hurt the poorest among us. Higher marginal tax rates on capital gains would be a better source of funding.

@ViciDraco It will never work, tax rates for everyone, specially the poor and middle class, will more than triple, while the rich would keep their breaks.

@NativeOregonian If we keep electing trash politicians, then of course. That's why we need to elect more people like the Roosevelts. The republican Theodore got to work trust busting and breaking up the big corps strangling the country. Democratic Franklin brought us the new deal and a prolonged period of sustained growth.
