@Ynotisay Republicans won't acknowledge evidence of wrong doing and when they can't ignore the evidence then they just claim it isn't wrong doing. Quid pro quo isn't quid pro quo if you say no quid pro quo.

He could have told people to take some guns to the bank and get the money, and then in another discussion said don't call it robbery,I don't want a robbery, and they'd claim he's innocent because he didn't want them to use the legally appropriate term.

@ViciDraco I've got the Senate hearing playing in the background and the Republicans have been on that road all day. They're screaming and whining about the FISA program yet have stonewalled any attempts to fix what they're whining about. It's the same old song and dance which, unfortunately, appeals to those who are easily manipulated.

@calicuz But the question was if he would be impeached. He will. Removal from office is a separate entity. But in terms of evidence against Trump, that'll play out big time in the first hour he's out of office. The Southern District of New York will see to that.

And the senate is not in the business of clearing anyone of anything - even when they do not remove a president. For instance - Bill Clinton was not cleared of wrongdoing in ‘98. Well all know he did what he did.

@QuixoticSoul Yeah, he received a consensual blow job. And lied about it to a grand jury whose right to even ask about it was questionable. She wasn’t a foreign leader, no one was seeking quid pro quo for any “services” and no national security issues were involved.

Clinton was deposed in the Jones lawsuit. It wasn’t actually the republicans questioning him. Starr just got his hands on solid proof that he lied in that instance.
