What good is the Supreme Court if they are partisan?

If their decisions are NOT based on THE LAW but based on which political party put them in the high court. What good are their decisions???

A good point, and that’s why the court has worked best when there were representatives from both sides of the aisle. Trying to load the court with only one mindset would not work well for the people.

@bijouxbroussard I agree with you, remember when President Obama nominated Garland for the court & McConnell WOULD NOT bring it to the floor for a vote?? Dictator!
@EnjoyingLife Indeed. They robbed him of a nominee, and steamrolled their own appointees through. No way to run a “democracy”.

@bijouxbroussard @EnjoyingLife Should there be a vacancy on the Court prior to the next election, we should invoke the McConnell Rule and not make an appointment until after the election. Republicans will not do this, of course, but it would be a direct parallel to what happened in 2016. They are all about cheating to get their way.

@LvChris I can’t say I’m surprised. The GOP is openly corrupt now and complains about “unfairness” only when they get caught.
