In The Peoples Republic of California they have regulated and taxed gasoline allegedly to encourage people to stop using fossil fuels and use electric cars instead.

Then, they turned off the electricity!

Allegedly, meaning in your head lmao.

CA just imposed a separate tax on electric vehicles, because as it stood, their drivers didn't chip in for road maintenance by skipping out on said gas tax.

Anyway, in case you didn't realize this, Teslas, etc, are almost always people's 2nd or 3rd vehicles.
