@sunsporter1649 that is such an incredible piece of tortured reasoning that I don't even know how to respond to it. What do laws about what homeowners can and can't do regarding their residences have to do with businesses? What does cutting down trees to "protect property" have to do with equipment on public land? How does any of this relate that these fires are because old equipment hasn't been replaced, which has nothing to do with trees at all? How are regulations to blame for people that [i]didn't[/i] follow them causing problems?

@OggggO And all this time we have been preached to that California is the beacon of progressivism, and the nation would be far better off if every state followed the lead of California and its policies. Seems to me California is so screwed up nobody can do anything right out there
