Impeachment madness

https://youtu.be/EQ3K1cyC0ls

So apparently the impeachment has been possibly exposed as a political hit job against our president (not at all surprised).

This will die in the senate, absolutely none of the Republicans voted against Trump. I predict he is still on track to win next November and I hope that the likes of Pelosi, Schiff, AOC, Omar, etc all find themselves without jobs.

What say all of you?

Also, keep it civil.

Stop paying attention to random mongs on YouTube, that shit will rot your brain.

At this point, it doesn’t matter who the whistleblower is - and it never really did. The IG found the complaint credible. And much of the material presented in it has been confirmed.

That’s where we are now.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@QuixoticSoul LOL, perhaps creditable, buy impeachable----nyet!
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 That’s not his job - which is something you’d understand if you weren’t so fucking stupid.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@QuixoticSoul Oh, opinions are irrefutable evidence for pursuing impeachment! My oh my, whouda thunk it!
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 Every day I’m kind of blown away you’re even able to operate a keyboard 🤷‍♂️

Genius, if the complaint was rooted in mere opinion, the IG wouldn’t have found it credible, or of urgent concern.

@QuixoticSoul Anyone who is against the emperor is a libtard

you didn't know that?
Roadsterrider · 56-60, M
@sunsporter1649 I am thinking that most of the people who are on the impeachment bus have never actually read the transcript of the call, they are just repeating what Schiff made up. Uninformed opinions.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Roadsterrider And you can follow them here, it's quite amusing to see them spinning everything

@sunsporter1649 This whole thing is a coup on the part of the Democrats. Instead of accepting their loss in 2016 as part of life, they have instead spent the better part of three years whining and crying like entitled children who heard "no" for the very first time.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@SW-User As California burns, their House representatives are sitting on their asses in Washington, ignoring the people that really need their help
SW-User
@sunsporter1649 And yet people will still vote for them. Its more important for them to impeach a president simply for the fact that they don't like him than it is to help people losing their homes and lives in a wildfire.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 What, you think Pelosi should fly back to the bay and go fight the kincaid fire personally or something? 😂

Shit, you don’t even understand what sort of stuff House reps do and don’t. There will be an appropriations fight and perhaps a scuffle over disaster relief - but this isn’t the time.

@Roadsterrider Most people who are complaining that this is a witch hunt haven’t read the transcript, or the complaint, and have never heard of Zelensky or Shokin until any of this happened 🤷‍♂️

@SW-User *Yawn* - just a no-content GOP talking point #562495.

@sunsporter1649 regurgitation of Sean hannity today on the radio. Almost word for word.
Y'all have one brain between all of you.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@SW-User Since half the state no longer speaks English, they vote for whoever they are told to vote for
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Carla Glad to hear you listen to Hannity, shows you are coming around away from the dark side
Carla · 61-69, F
@sunsporter1649 I've always listened to conservative radio. It isn't fair not to.
I also listen to NPR. Kind of go between the two.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Carla Keep at it, eventually the bulb will glow, and you will see the light
Carla · 61-69, F
@sunsporter1649 I highly doubt it. I can discern false outrage and propaganda when I hear it.
I feel badly for those of you being so easily played.

Try changing the channel, yourself, for a month or two. Read something other than far right drivel.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 It must be tough knowing that a state you hate so deeply is the shining beacon of American economy, technology, and worldwide cultural influence 😂

Don’t worry, we’ll keep paying your way anyhow, no matter how much you bitch about the commies that keep your lights on.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@QuixoticSoul LOL, got your poopy map?
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 Yes, it shows that the Tenderloin is not a nice place, a shocking revelation that took everyone by surprise 🙄

Got your state’s federal aid allotment? You’re welcome.
Carla · 61-69, F
@sunsporter1649 those reports about nasty streets over run with homeless folks is just more propaganda to stoke your hate.
Again, so easy.
SW-User
@QuixoticSoul She doesn't have to go back and fight the fire personally (though watching her try would be good for a laugh or two) but at the very least she and the others can send aid.....but that would waste valuable time that could be spent finding another futile way to "stop mean orange man who got elected and stole OUR power!!!"
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@Carla No they’re true. They’ve always been true. Tenderloin and Skid Row have been very rough neighborhoods for a long time.

California is the land of unbridled capitalism with no safety rails, and some people get left behind. The fact that there are so many homeless people in a city where median home prices are well over 1 million (which some people might not realize, means that a whole lot of folks have over 1 million to spend on a home) is just an illustration that the “rising tide lifts all boats” principle is bunk.

But that’s America. Even our homeless situation is a demonstration that Californians are simply better at being Americans.

And of course ‘sportster can’t handle that 🤷‍♂️
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@QuixoticSoul California, the home of fruits and nuts
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@SW-User The time to send aid will be later - like I said, there will be an appropriations squabble next year. That stuff comes after damages get sorted out, if anything needs to happen right now, that’s in FEMA and the governor’s courts.

The aid for last years’ fires was pushed through this June after a long fight. There is a time table for congressional response in these circumstances. Pelosi will do her job, just like she did it this summer. When it’s time.
