Impeachment madness

https://youtu.be/EQ3K1cyC0ls

So apparently the impeachment has been possibly exposed as a political hit job against our president (not at all surprised).

This will die in the senate, absolutely none of the Republicans voted against Trump. I predict he is still on track to win next November and I hope that the likes of Pelosi, Schiff, AOC, Omar, etc all find themselves without jobs.

What say all of you?

Also, keep it civil.

Republicans are too spineless to put their nation ahead of the party and would rather turn a blind eye than actually investigate whether the president has actually broken his oath and committed crimes through abuse of his office.

Don't know Schiff. Pelosi is meh. We need a lot more like AOC.
JoeyFoxx · 51-55, M
@ViciDraco Oh yes. We need more uninformed bartenders running the country.

We already have an uninformed "businessman". I don't see how the likes of AOC would be any better.

Mayor Pete or bust.

@ViciDraco I disagree. AOC and her ilk are trying to turn this country socialist/communist which is NOT a principle we were founded on. AOC is as dumb as a box of hammers and I do not for one second believe her "we'll all be dead in 12 years" climate change scam.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@SW-User You’re simply misinformed on what that twelve year deadline actually means 🤷‍♂️

She’s a poor communicator as well, but let’s face it, if you’re learning the basics of the current environmental situation from politicians, something already went terribly wrong somewhere.

@JoeyFoxx
Republicans: We support hardworking Americans.
Also Republicans: Oh my God! A congresswoman used to be a bartender! She can never rise to the level of truly deserving this elite office!
JoeyFoxx · 51-55, M
@BlueVeins I don't have an issue with her history as a bartender. I'm being glib. I thought that was obvious.

My issue is that she's a loud-mouthed junior congressperson who is ignorant about actual facts and about how things work.

She's riding a wave of interest with little substance. There are people outside of her district that promote her without knowing anything about her.
@BlueVeins I never knew that was an issue...

@ViciDraco a puppet socialist is the last thing we need more of.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@JoeyFoxx for being so ignorant she sure does a good job leveraging her team to do research and asks extremely intelligent questions during house hearings. Sadly, for as ignorant as you claim she is, she's one of the smartest people on the Hill that manages to still care about people more than profiteering.

You want to talk about people who have issues with facts, a majority of Republican politicians have difficulty accepting things like evolution and climate science.
TexChik · F
@ViciDraco Accepting socialism has nothing to do with evolution...and more to do with decay and destruction, like every other time its been tried. There likely isn't going to be an AOC after the next election...lets see if she survives that. Her intelligence cost NY billions from the lost Amazon opportunity.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@TexChik Amazon was going to bring low wage jobs and pay 0 taxes. It's about damn time someone stood up to these corporations. You conflate socialism with authoritarianism while celebrating corporate wage slavery.

What this nation really needs is another Theodore and Franklin Roosevelt one two punch. Need a Teddy to trust bust these massive corporations and a Franklin style New Deal.
TexChik · F
@ViciDraco no the amazon deal cost NY lots of money . That’s all socialism does ... dry up the sources and spend all the capital
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@TexChik can you tell me what socialism actually is? Just the core philosophy, please.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@ViciDraco You know all the stuff you think belongs to you?
It doesn't.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@Budwick Ah, so you don't know.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@QuixoticSoul Whaddaya mean?
I just gave a quick, simple explanation that my dog could understand.
I'll ask him to make you a drawing.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@Budwick I did not see you define socialism as the workers owning the means of production. So I generally assume you did not have a proper definition.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@Budwick So you don't know.
