Here's Why Trump Will Win In 2020

I predict that Trump is going to win his bid for a second term as President. The scenario I envision, is the following:

Democratic primaries/caucuses are over and done.

Bernie comes in 3rd

Bernie supporters accuse the DNC of playing favorites throw a tantrum fit, and either vote-in Bernie, or some 3rd party candidate

Trump gets about 35% of the popular vote, but like Clinton on his first run, ends up with the electoral votes needed to win the Presidency

During Trump's second term, two more Supreme Court vacancies will be filled with Evangelical-blessed judges, and the Handmaiden's Tale, edited to include only Aunt Hilda's perspective, will be mandatory reading for school children, from pre-school up.

Anyone looking forward to this scenario?

I think you're failing to account for Trrump's incredible unpopularity. Like 60% of people in the US support impeachment right now. He has a devoted, active, and motivated base but very little beyond that. Even if the DNC is a dumpster fire, this is a hard one to lose.

They can still lose it, and may, particularly if they nominate fucking Biden, but we'll see.

@CountScrofula Depends how much voter apathy they(DNC) stir up this time. That's what really lost them the last one.

@CountScrofula Biden remains the front runner.

@Northwest It's over if he gets the nom. It boggles the mind why anyone even let him run or encouraged him to. I would ha e thought lessons would have been learned after the last election.

@MethDozer I tend to agree, but the swing vote is middle aged, to older white Americans, who think "liberal", but don't feel Biden would be a threat to their "normal" life.
MethDozer · M
@Northwest That was what they thought during the last election. What is being missed I'd the baggage he carries. The same baggage as Hillary. Those swing voters rightly or wrongly don't like that previous administrator much and what is needed more is a non-traditional candidates. That's what people want, that's what doesn't create apathetic voters who just don't care.

Besides, I doubt anyone with any sense sees many swing voters in this election cycle.

@Budwick Why doesn't your candidate?

@BudwickWhat is so pro American as opposed to others about him?

What? Because he hates Muslims and Mexicans and serves the richest asshole's pocket books at the expense of the middle and lower class while pretending to love guns and has no refused for any conservation? That's your metric?

Fuck that country.

Face it Brudwick. I known you long enough and read enough your views since Sodahead. You love him because he pisses off Dems, isn't another colored, blames everything on Muslims and Mexicans, and panders to the Christian base.

@MethDozer At this point, it would be best if he pulls out of the race, using some face-saving measure. It's not that I think that the companies that employed Hunter got anything out of it, the contrary is true, but he should not have let this happen in the first place. But, like I told someone else on SW, it's not like he can exercise much control over all the shit Hunter pulls. Did he have this conversation with Hunter: "Hey buddy, about the drugs, can you please stop being such a dickhead, and that China and Ukraine thing, stop misleading and collecting a paycheck selling influence you know is not going to happen, and while you're at it, would you mind not fucking your brother's widow?".

He can't even finish a debate, without getting lost in the middle of a sentence. Trump simply soldiers on, and makes shit up as he goes, without missing a beat. Biden pauses and stumbles.

@Northwest The baggage with his son isn't even what I was referring too, but yeah.
Northwest · M
@MethDozer Yeah, that's only part of it, but I am mostly concerned about his general agenda, which is not going to represent much change from the status quo. Still though, come November 2020, and if sanity does not prevail, I will not hesitate to vote for him, over Trump.

@Northwest I hear ya' for once.
@CountScrofula not to mention that he throws more tantrums than all of his competitors combined, and over foolish things like pizza and rockbands...and that nonsense about threatening Canada with bikers.
