Why is the objective and strictly impartial BBC World Service called that when it's always operating on behalf of the Conservative Party?

The BBC is less partisan than say the American media but it does have a pro establishment bias.

Scottish nationalists call it out for that, as do Brexiteers and people on the left like myself. All are correct in a sense.

Loads of Tories work for it, even Andrew Neil, who is a good journalist but is still chairmen of the Spectator. The biases it has are usually subtle and implicit but then that makes it more powerful because people trust it as a source, wrongly believing it to be impartial.
