Unless you're on a ferry without shifting through the wreckage of what was your life to grab paperwork to get a visa first. Then we'd just as soon you get lost at sea.

I don’t live in hurricane country so perhaps people regularly maintain access to their personal documents after their homes and towns have been destroyed ? 🤔

@bijouxbroussard Yes, we always have state-of-the-art lock boxes and bough supplies...especially in our poorer regions. Then, when the water line is over or windows and some of us are tearing holes in the attic with a hammer, we make plans for securing visas in case we have to travel. You know how people are so organized in a disaster.
