Have you heard? San Francisco board of supervisors just passed a resolution declaring the NRA a domestic terrorist group.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2019/09/04/san-francisco-supervisors-nra-domestic-terrorist-organization/2210973001/

I don't like guns...I had a very scary experience with one...but I didn't know that city governments were allowed to make decisions like that. Are they?

I DO like the law...and I would like to see that people don't let their tiny powers go to their heads.

Who can legally determine that a group is a domestic terrorist organization? Anyone know? I thought it was the federal government in conjunction with the FBI, (many of whom will be surprised to discover they are now "domestic terrorists").

Laws - Schmaws
When one is a democrat it doesn't matter if one is 'able' to make law or not. One just does.
Sort of like, 'you gotta pass the bill before you can read it' kind of thing.

I don't think the declaration is a law anyway. It's more of a public statement. Well, at least until they start rounding up NRA members.

@Budwick You're right. Mistycee cleared that up for me. The SF board of supervisors is just grandstanding and making noise.

He says it's a possibility that SF might try to debar or ban NRA members...and that is when the poo will hit the fan.

Then the smell from all the poo in SF will certainly stink up the Democrat Socialist Party's chances in 2020.

If they had a brain between them they would keep quiet till 2020 is over...but no hope of any brains in the elected officials of SF.
