Another Uk Government minister resigns.

This guy did so on principle because he couldn't go along with the crazy and dangerous decisions of the prime minister... his brother.

As I read his tweet (#overandout) has he resigned now? Doesn't that force a by-election?

Yes torn between "family loyalty and the national interest".

His sister stood on a remain platform in the recent European elections.... Seems he doesn't command a majority even around the dinner table.... Given his dad worked for years for the EU commission I wonder if his public support for his son is really true esp when both his siblings clearly disagree with him.

@SW-User His sibling know better than anyone that he is a bullshitter. They are a rich liberal family but BJ knows what is good for his career.

I see a reality TV series coming. Something the Brits can develop, and Trump can clone for the Yanks, when Barron is a bit older...

@Burnley123 My joke was somewhat in gist. A few of our popular shows, in recent years, seem to be remakes of British shows. The Office for instance. Wasn't the Apprentice a knockoff of a British show? There's even a show, about a British show that was being adopted for US TV.

One of my favorites was "yes, prime minister'

@Northwest Yeah you yanks do copy our shows but with American actors. I think The Apprentice is something you guys did first but I could be wrong. House of Cards was a British show in the early 90s but I forgive you lot for doing that because the American show was superb, at least for the first two seasons.

You copy our best TV shows and we copy your worst political ideas. Oh well.

@Burnley123 ... and that's our gift to the world these days :-) I'm hoping for more exports, like the Peace Corps. Let's hope the current situation is just a bad fad.
You only get a bi-election if someone resigns as anMP.You are under no obligation to continue representing the party you were elected for.

@SW-User He's not resigned from the party though, just the government.

@Burnley123 Confused by his tweet then to me he seems to say he's resigned as mp too... 🤷‍♂️

@SW-User He is apparantly thinking of standing down at the next gen election. He probably thinks there will not be too long to wait.

Fratricide .... that's what this tragedy was lacking all along , and now we have it !

After seeing that buffoon humiliated in the Commons yesterday by members of his own party , I didn't think it could get any better , but it just did.

I can't wait for the next Act.

@LegendofPeza You can enjoy watching this from your deckchair in France but some of us are not so lucky. 😜

@Burnley123 Fukin' 'ell ..... did you see that clown yesterday in Wakefield ?

If he keeps that up his poll numbers will fall even faster than May's did during the last campaign.
