@SteelHands yes part of the problem for sure. And pharmas are part of the problem, but opioids are now being controlled more. hopefully guns will follow.

Moral relativism won't change a thing but the methods. They'll just chain the doors shut and use sterno or lamp oil or ammonia and chlorine or coal tar and rubbing alcohol or...
Maybe you missed the part about the human deciding to kill a bunch of people.
It's not being done by robots. At least not yet. Don't worry. They're coming too.

@Carazaa Gun control is hitting your target with the bullet. Murder is already illegal. More laws to break is not the answer. There is no single solution, but improving access to mental health care is a good place to start.

@SteelHands Other countries have been around for thousands of years, the USA is a young country that is still learning about safety, and how to care for their citizens so they don't get so stressed they want to kill people. Really says a lot about the country.
I have lived in the USA and in a few European countries. The difference is people are not stressed in Europe because of free healthcare, free colleges, excellent mass transits so young people don't have to buy a car if they can't afford it or are blind or handicapped, and kids can get around on their own busses, and there is much less crime. That makes people less stressed.
People get mad all over the world, we all get mad, but in the USA there are guns to kill people with, not so in most European countries. If I had a gun every time I got mad that's not good. I will not have a gun because only people shoot people. I will pray for protection and love people instead of having guns as protection.

@StrictSouthernHOH Mental health doesn't help people who cant afford healthcare, or cant afford the car to drive there, or cant afford education to get a job they want, or are homeless. Mental health is a band aid.
