Do you have respect for Hong Kong Protesters?

Just been watching the latest from Hong Kong.
Relentless opposition from the protesters does not seem like they are ever going to stop.
Government also appears that they are not going to relent.
China has increased? PLA troops, readying for engagement.

The whole reason for them demanding for a right to keep and bear arms is to take a stand against their own government. I respect what they are doing I wish the US government would at least support them. But I guess you can’t when you are trying to put in red flag laws and stricter gun control that isn’t going to work because you can not legislate yourself into safety form bat shit crazy but the right to keep and bear arms protects me against it fine (if where I live in the US actually respected that but hey that’s what happens when you vote demorat)

@Ozuye502 The reason the protest started is because China wanted Hong Kong Criminals deported to China to face Chinese justice(Which is no justice at all)
Nothing to do with the right to bear arms.

@Gusman You might add that speaking out against the government makes you a criminal in China....so exercising free speech would get you put into the Chinese penal system.

The right to keep and bear arms has everything to do with the right to resist an unjust government. I don't expect an Aussie to understand that.
