Interest rates can in fact go into the negative. But it sounds and looks silly. I am sure Donald doesnt have a clue, since he never pays back loans anyway. But in reality the US economy has been on life support for a decade now. Which makes more sense now you have the brain dead running the show and the ghouls with the money looking to suck the corpse dry. This is such a tragedy.

@whowasthatmaskedman In theory interests rates could go into negative, but that would bring about a tailspin economically. It would mean the lender owes the one they credited.

@whowasthatmaskedman But the economy has been doing well over the last 11 years as far as I know.

@SW-User Yes. Thats right. Japan has been in and out of that situation over the past 20 years. And there are other small countries seriously looking at it right now.

@SimplyTracie Relatively, yes. But many would say that economy hasn't been helping those working for a living paycheque to paycheque
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@SimplyTracie No. Only the printed money continually pumped in has been making consumers spend and supported prices and jobs. America is massively in debt to the rest of the world with NO WAY to even stop digging itself in further, let alone pay it back.

@SW-User You’re right. As they say, the rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer.

@SimplyTracie I don't feel that bad towards middle class who complain, somehow they still find a way to buy an expensive phone (definitely not needed) but somewhere the game is rigged.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@SW-User It is rigged.. And more so in America than most western nations. At all levels the rich take a cut of everything and have their thumbs on the scales of every transaction through the legislature, the Executive branch and even the courts.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@SW-User Doesn’t the middle class earn between $60 ~ $100K. They can afford a nice phone.

SW-User
@SimplyTracie I thought middle class in my country was $40-$90. Yes, they can afford a nice phone, too, yet they complain about grocery prices while clothing prices have gone down by their support of putting people out of work.. Funny world.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@SW-User I guess income levels will depend on who generates the report.
Funny world. Yes.
