White supremacists are offended by the idea of America. And they don't want you to know it, so they keep pointing their fingers at everyone else, saying that everyone else hates the idea of America, especially liberals.
But what is the idea of America, exactly? It's the idea of escaping tyranny and going to the land of the free, no matter where you're from. And that is an idea that offends white supremacists like no other.

@33person Exactly, they want a white, xtian 'murica.

@NativeOregonian But they distort the ideas of Jesus Christ so much, too. It's almost like they believe in pretty much nothing they say they believe in. They don't believe in America, and they don't believe in following the teachings of Christ. They burn the cross. What's that tell you?
NativeOregonian · 56-60
@33person They are actually following paul, not jesus, it's too late in the night, and too long to properly explain.

@NativeOregonian Interesting

@33person If you take a really close look, pretty much all white supremacists embrace evangelist belief, and pretty much all evangelical sects quote paul over jesus and his disciples by a margin of 15 to 20 times more and use the greek septuagent over the Aramaic texts.

@NativeOregonian That makes sense. A lot of sense. Because to my relatively liberal Catholic family, the words of Jesus are to be taken far more seriously than the words of Paul or any other relatively ordinary person (compared to Jesus). And that might explain why they put emphasis on different religious values than most evangelical Christians do.
NativeOregonian · 56-60
@33person Exactly. Even when I was a more strong believer, recanted Atheist now, I still had major issues over the heavy emphasis on paul over jesus, and got into a lot of super heated theological debates over it.

@NativeOregonian I'd call myself more a believer in the philosophy of Christ rather than a very literal believer in the religion. So, as you can see, I don't really care what Paul thinks.
NativeOregonian · 56-60
@33person The problem is that too many protestants, specially evangelicals, think paul is the top shit, even moreso than jesus himself.
33person · 26-30, M
@NativeOregonian I used to respect Protestantism more. It seemed like it was based on a good reason for doubt in Catholicism: none of the three people claiming to be Pope knew what to do about the Plague.
NativeOregonian · 56-60
@33person Yet protestants believe the catholic church is the whore of babylon in revelation.
33person · 26-30, M
@NativeOregonian They should call themselves Paulians or Paulists or something.
NativeOregonian · 56-60
@33person I call them paulites.
