Why do only white people get charged for hate crimes?

@WeighedDown Agreed, its been a long time problem since the end of Apartheid, however, I would guess we were talking about the US here. I have no idea what South Africa's laws are regarding a definition of hate crime, or even if it has one.

@WeighedDown On one hand, yes. But context matters, and discussing the perceived imbalance in applying US hate crime legislation is a common conservative talking point.
