@SW-User Fair enough. The ACA was something the GOP, had they been so inclined, could’ve shared as a shining achievement. It was based upon Romney’s plan for Massachusetts when he was governor. And in the states that didn’t try to dismantle or sabotage it, many people with pre-existing health issues had coverage and care for the first time in decades. The same people who criticize the Democrats for “partisan attacks” on Trump (ironic considering his tweets and rallies) basically robbed the American people of healthcare purely for partisan reasons. They spent the 7 years it existed, not trying to improve any glitches, but trying to repeal it altogether. And when they finally let Trump destroy it, they had no viable alternative ready to replace it. And they still don’t, three years later.
