So the one eyed Chinese girl has become something of a cultural icon.

Thousands and thousands of people all across Hong Kong and even other major cities in China are now wearing a gauze patch over one eye as a symbol of protest.

If they're not careful, they're going to get repressed badly. I follow the mainland Chinese news, they appear to be building casus belli against them. And to the average viewer, its pretty convincing. But in the end, who knows, maybe itll blow off.

@SW-User Most people even outside of China know exactly what they're doing. Taiwan is on Hong Kong's side and I think they're gonna stand their ground.

@BlueMetalChick If Taiwan makes a move, the U.S. will have to back them. Otherwise, Taiwan will too be crushed. If the U.S. interferes, I would be pissing my pants at the situation. I think Taiwan will protest, but won't move a finger, the U.S. needs to come to deal regarding trade, it can't jeopardize it by backing a war against China, or can it? I think things will just blow over, but there's a chance China will use the opportunity to seize Hong Kong once and for all. Fun stuff
