Do you believe that the United States is a great nation.

Over the past few years there has been almost a sport team rivalry between people who think that the US is a great nation and people who think that it’s not so great.

What are your thoughts on America?

Well it depends on how you measure 'greatness'. If you are talking about median incomes , standard of living , cost of healthcare and basic education then I think there are probably better places to live.

What it is fast becoming however is a pariah nation and the re-election of Trump would probably confirm that in very short order.
