Be proud, conservatives. This is the guy you chose.

So interesting to see 'Progressive' Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run.

“Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done. "

Really? Not only is this abjectly ignorant, it's what you expect somebody with a name like Billy Clyde to shout with a confederate flag in his hand at some Southern rally n' cook-off.

When Trump's adoring loyalists say he's not a racist, this is just more proof positive that they are lying like their Dear Leader. It is and always has been about Making America White Again.

@windinhishair Pelosi's response:

“When @realDonaldTrump tells four American Congresswomen to go back to their countries, he reaffirms his plan to “Make America Great Again” has always been about making America white again. Our diversity is our strength and our unity is our power,”

I don't know how anyone can read his tweets (he followed with some more hate later today), and still be able to claim, with a straight face, that he's not a racist.

Let's face it though, he's doing this on purpose, to assure the people who voted for him, specifically because he attacked Mexicans, as rapists, that he has not strayed. This is music to their ears, and they will be voting for him again.

The rest of us need to treat this as an emergency, not that 2016 was not, and make sure we vote, and not split the vote between centrists and leftists. We've got bigger fish to fry. I am an atheist, but I find myself praying for RBG's good health.

@Northwest People here on SW say all the time, "He's not a racist. Show me one thing he's said that is racist." And now this will just be another one we will add to our ever-increasing list of racist statements and actions that they can deny.
Kind of sad that this is the face of the USA to the world.

Wow but this is what I expect from a nationalist president. It's appalling but can't say I'm surprised.

Nothing he does or says should surprise anyone at this point. He’s always been a repugnant human being, and it’s not like becoming president was going to magically sprinkle dust over him that would give him integrity, decency, and decorum. @SatanBurger

In case anyone was left in any doubt that there was a racist asshole in the White House , the President has now removed all uncertainty.

That is a pretty repugnant level of Nativism.

Shit like this is exactly why Somali-Americans turned out in droves for Omar. If you’re an immigrant, especially the wrong sort of immigrant, you cannot trust this administration to protect your interests.

Republicans are going to lose whole swaths of first and second generation immigrants for a generation after this clown.
He seems to have forgot "by the people for the people."

All you have is ad hominem? That’s it?

Are supporting Trump? Then you're conservative. And badly misled.

Are supporting Trump? Then you're conservative.

The idea that Trump is actually a conservative might be the greatest myth he’s propagated throughout this prolonged Svengali routine. The only concretely conservative thing he’s done with any consistency is to appoint conservative judges, but I think he does that for transactional reasons to placate Republicans that might turn on him if he didn’t. The rest of his playbook is much more authoritarian than conservative.

There’s nothing conservative about manipulating the free market with tariffs to choose winners and losers.

There’s nothing conservative about using tariffs as a foreign policy bludgeon against our allies and neighbors.

There’s nothing conservative about attacking the free press, which is supposed to be protected under the First Amendment of the Constitution that he swore an oath to uphold.

There’s nothing conservative about undermining our strategic alliances while embracing and cuddling up to dictators and despots.

There’s nothing conservative about isolationism and nativism.

There’s absolutely nothing conservative about a massive tax cut without spending offsets to keep it deficit neutral at the very least, and it’s certainly not conservative to balloon the deficit and thereby the national debt.

Donald Trump is many things, but conservative is not one of them. He’s something else entirely. If anything, ideological conservatives should be even more motivated to vanquish him next year than liberals, because he’s completely perverted and contaminated the very concept of it.

@GallantlyChurlish That's funny you mentioned ad hominem since when Trump does this stuff it's specifically to draw attention away from what is being talked about. The manipulation is kind of obvious there. I don't know what countries Trump is referring to so I am assuming but countries in higher poverty have a multitude of reasons for being that way. Capitalism is one, corruption is another.. ONE Democrat congresswoman is not going to ride in on a white horse and save the day.

Don't pretend like it's anything else, I hate people that mince words.
