A little too late, Paul.

Paul Ryan said trump is a self-absorbed, know-nothing, moral miscreant who shouldn’t be president. He also said trump didn’t know anything about government, had to be stopped from making bad decisions, and was guided by knee-jerk reactions. And finally, he said trump doesn't set a good example.

Well, duh! And yet Ryan still backed trump knowing full well that he was completely unfit for office.

It’s funny how so many of these GOPers find the courage of their convictions on their way out the door. It means nothing for Citizen Ryan to say this. It would have meant everything for Speaker of the House Ryan to have said it. Paul Ryan needs to just piss off and wait in the pantheon of cowards and await history’s blistering judgment like the rest of them.

@SW-User You have hit the nail on the head again. Ryan had many, many chances to stand up and let his voice be heard as Speaker. He failed miserably every single time, and he and his children and grandchildren will have to live with his failure.

@SW-User Unfortunately for him, history remembers the Speakers of the House. If he was just a representative from Wisconsin, he could hope to avoid history's harsh judgment, but as Speaker, he has no hope of being remembered as anything other than a duplicitous enabler. I do not feel sorry for him in any way.
