Lookin' out for America...the narcissist's way.

President Trump's 4th of July festivities cost Washington, D.C. $1.7 million, bankrupting the city's Emergency Planning and Security Fund, reports the Washington Post.

By the numbers: The fund is "depleted and is estimated to be running a $6 million deficit by Sept. 30," per the Post. Meanwhile, Washington, D.C. has not yet been repaid for more than $7 million in 2017 inauguration costs, local officials told the Post.

So you're implying that presidents pay for their own inauguration?

This is an issue of Congress dropping the ball on funding.

You also forgot to mention that part of that cost came from policing all the protestors. Are you expecting money from them too?

@SooperSarah I'm implying nothing. Passing along news. But it's Trump's Congress. Protests are every citizen's right.
@Graylight I never said they weren't everyone's right, but they cost money.

The article mentioned the protests being part of that deficit. It also mentioned the cost of the 2017 women's march. It also mentioned the funeral of former president George H.W. Bush.

All news you conveniently forgot to pass along.
But why would you? Those can't be blamed on trump.
