I'm no fan of Trump, and there is much to still despise about him .. but if he can successfully ease tensions between N. Korea and the US..

with this personal form of diplomacy, well good on him. Hope that works out.

He is flat out dangerous as a diplomat and the state department is still short of 50 professional diplomats.

@SomeLikeItHot True, and I agree. Still though, Trump and Kim Jong-Un holding hands, eating a burger together, or w/e.. is better than taunting each other with threats of nuclear warfare.. even if those threats are rhetorical, it's nothing to just toss around in any regard.

We, as humans, should all arrive on the same page of respect that these type of weapons are never to be used again.

He is in no way accomplishing the control of nuclear weapons. The escalation and stupid talk was his idea to scare everyone. He pulls that crap all the time. Act like a bully and then pull back like a bitch. It was his fault that Guam and especially Hawaii felt so threatened.Nimrod put them in that position. Even Japan is nominating him for a Nobel; not because he earned it but because they are afraid of his incompetence.

@MougyWolf Tbh whether they're holding hands or yelling at each other - that stuff is just nonsense for domestic consumption of both countries. It's meaningless. The important thing to remember here is the source of our antagonism - NK's nukes.
@QuixoticSoul Actually their nukes are a direct result of US antagonism since 53 and American actions in places like Libya.
