What is going on with Mr.Trump?

First, he called off the raid on Iran. Now, the reports are that he has postponed the impending ICE raids/deportations.

He has achieved a new level of dysfunction driven by his severe mental illness.

@windinhishair No, he's just constantly changing his mind because he says and does things before he thinks, and then has to go back on it when reality intrudes.

@SW-User Hence the dysfunction.

@windinhishair That's not mental illness, though, it's him being a shithead.

@SW-User That's true. It could be. But he has shown clear signs of malignant narcissism throughout his life. There is no effective treatment.

@windinhishair He's a narcissist, that's for sure but idk if that's "mental illness" or just being an insecure entitled asshole born with a silver spoon in his mouth who has never had to face the consequences of anything he's done. His strategy seems to work for him, morally repugnant though it may be.

What I don't like is people leveraging mental illness stigma to discredit him. Doing that hurts people like me for whom just making it to tomorrow is sometimes a miracle. He discredits himself in a million other ways, surely there are plenty of things to choose from.

@SW-User My apologies for hitting closer to home than I should. I don't take mental illness lightly or blame the victim. What you have said about his entitlement and lack of consequences is true. My characterization of him as a malignant narcissist is based on discussions I've had with family members who are practicing psychiatrists and some of their coworkers. The president's mental state comes up almost without fail in any gathering of them, because they know the signs and symptoms. Narcissism is common and not a mental illness. Malignant narcissism is a clinical condition that is less common and more damaging. Again, my apologies to you and best of luck moving forward.

@windinhishair Thank you.
