Can someone tell me why ILLEGAL immigrants SHOULDN'T be removed?
This is not to start fights, I'm genuinely curious on peoples' opinions.

As a general principle, they should. If its that clear cut. However, some countries rely on cheap, undocumented labour to run their economies, which makes them a little hypocritical.. And the children of those without documents born in a country is another issue.
Finally, all civilised nations recognise the need to allow genuine refugees.. So throw that lot into the mix. Once you do, the government has the ability to make it very difficult for any illegal migrant to remain in the country and live successfully. But they seem very unwilling to do that for some reason.
