I notice the technocracy banning apparently right leaning individuals for having the wrong opinion, and then...

I'm reminded of the words of an actual Nazi, the Nazi Propaganda Minister, Joseph Goebbels, in fact. And the way he felt that media outlets should act.

"Not every item of news should be published. Rather must those who control news policies endeavour to make every item of news serve a certain person". - Goebbels.

Oh, hmmm.

Just remember, private companies have no responsibility to the 1st Amendment. You are an alt-right douche on FB or Twitter? They can happily kick you, they have no reason not to. They owe you nothing.
cunningcrocodile · 31-35, F
@Pherick Didn't say they don't have a right, too. Just stating that they are acting like the fascists they pretend to fight.
Pherick · 41-45, M
@cunningcrocodile Nah, thats not how it works. Fighting against bigots doesn't make you a bigot.
cunningcrocodile · 31-35, F
@Pherick You should really look up how bigoted the Nazis thought the jews were... In fact, they justified their bigotry, censorship of and eventual killing of the jews with "it's okay as we are fighting their injustice". You can even substitute the word "jew" wherever Hitler uses it and substitute it with whatever the fringe media hate label currently is and the sentence would work. You've been taken in by the fear mongering of the establishment, and you'd be taken in if the nazis took the establishment, clearly, if all it takes to be brainwashed is what the establishment have currently done.
Pherick · 41-45, M
@cunningcrocodile I haven't been taken in by anything, very thoughtful of you to worry about that, but its not true. I really couldn't give a FUCK how bigoted the nazi's thought the Jews were.

Its pathetic your attempts to cut nazi's and alt-right asshats some slack. They deserve none.
cunningcrocodile · 31-35, F
@Pherick Cut them some slack? The nazis would have killed me. Attacking the fringe left doesn't mean I must support the fringe right. Grow out of this cartoony, black and white thinking, idiot.
Pherick · 41-45, M
@cunningcrocodile *yawn* I should have known this was going to be some nazi apology session.

Attacking bigots is never a bad thing, I don't really care what you think. Its that simple.
cunningcrocodile · 31-35, F
@Pherick Because I attack the fringe left who are the other side of the coin of fascism to nazism, then I must support a group who would have killed me at birth. Clearly you don't think, period. Never mind caring about what other people think.
Pherick · 41-45, M
@cunningcrocodile Who are these fringe left?
cunningcrocodile · 31-35, F
@Pherick Mark Zuckerberg. Or at least whoever pulls his strings.
Pherick · 41-45, M
@cunningcrocodile That is just ridiculous. Mark runs a business and he wants more business, he wants to know about every detail of your life in order to monetize it. He is NOT on the fringe left. He wants a public arena people want to come to, hard to get people in if you are known to harbor nazi fuckheads.
cunningcrocodile · 31-35, F
@Pherick Weird how all these businesses were happily making billions despite the fact that up until 2016 there were apparently all these nazis running around on their platforms...
Pherick · 41-45, M
@cunningcrocodile They were just ALOT quieter and in hidden private groups not making a big fuss ... UNTIL someone got elected, then for some STRANGE reason they felt emboldened ....

Crazy!
cunningcrocodile · 31-35, F
@Pherick Oh really? No, they were still as outspoken. It's just that the media cabal decided to ramp up the fear mongering and make more of a fuss about them. Decided to demonise them more, decided to label more and more people "far right" to make things seem dire, to push back against a political opponent. Remember the smear against the convington kids?
