@helenS Yes, it is, very conflicting views, specially centered on Mary, indulgences, and other things. It goes way back to Martin Luther and the reformation.

@InOtterWords They do, although Jainism isn't that small, but they're pacifists so they don't really harm anyone. Zoroastrians keep to themselves, especially due to centuries of discrimination.

@helenS It would still exist, catholic and protestant conflict has been going for centuries.

@helenS the conflict is ethnoreligious. Protestant planters came and forced us off our indigenous lands, displacing our language, culture and way of life, destroying the clans. This was done directly by Church of England and Presbyterian institutions under Protestant kings and queens.
