To democrats and republicans:

You look DUMB.

Republicans pull science out of their ass for the first time since grade school when talking about the fight against abortion, but bring up figures of climate change and suddenly science is some tricky wizardry that’s meant to lie to people to make money..

Democrats vice versa. Idk what pulp fiction you’re reading but a human fetus is not an abnormal growth or a lump of cells. And for all the peace hope and unity crap you all spout, infanticide while lobbying for saving lives of death-row inmates isn’t a very good look....

But you do you.

It doesn't really make sense to compare abortion to infanticide since fetuses aren't sentient beings at the stage where abortions are conducted, but the American left-wing fucks a lot of shit up in much more profound ways than that anyway.

But either way it’s a slippery slope... you can’t say that’s the moment life begins...
and I’m not really a pro-lifer either..

I believe the government shouldn’t be telling us what to do. But the arguments Some dems make for it is sickening and frightening when juxtaposed with things like fighting for the lives of death row inmates @BlueVeins

@GardenSage I've never really bought into the whole slippery slope fallacy thing because it ignores the fact that people make decisions meaningfully rather than just drifting infinitely along societal trends, but I'm glad you agree that government intervention isn't the answer.

Anyway, what's wrong with not wanting the government to off death row inmates? Executing people is both wildly expensive and dangerous to innocent people. There's no real contradiction between wanting abortions decriminalized and wanting the death penalty gone; both favor less government power over people's personal lives and fewer civilian deaths.

@GardenSage It's not a slippery slope, it's a necessary line in the sand. Something without a capacity to support a mind might be "life", but it's not a person - and on the extreme ends of the situation, the deliberation is pretty easy. But the transition is fuzzy, and in general we draw that line conservatively, with third trimester abortions not only being vanishingly rare, but usually only performed in emergencies.

What about Independents that voice their opinions?

Point out the gross hypocrisy in my opinion and I’ll gladly own being dumb as well.... @cherokeepatti

They both look dumb... Hell, they are dumb in my opinion...
I’ve seen 7th and 8th graders more mature and composed
A long time ago, I remember people throwing a bucket of water over cats that would fight.

You have some good points there.
